How to enroll in the Master of Health Care Administration (MHA) program:

1. Go to UNLV Graduate College Admissions website.

2. Download and complete the entire Graduate College Application Form. The Graduate Assistantship form may be found here. (if interested)

3. Under the degree program information section of the Application Form, be sure to include the following:

Program of Study : Master of Health Care Administration

4. To be considered for admission, an applicant must meet Graduate College admission requirements, and:

• Hold a bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited institution or must complete the degree before admittance. An applicant should have at least a B (3.0) grade point average. An applicant who does not meet this academic criterion may request special consideration. For further consideration, the department will consider applicant's field of undergraduate study, relevant work experience and/or completion of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). Contact the Graduate Coordinator for more information.
• Submit a resume (upload to AY website)
• Submit a one to two page personal essay describing why they want to pursue a career in health care management (upload to AY website)
• Submit three letters of recommendation (upload to AY website)
• In addition, a satisfactory score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for applicants whose first language is not English.

All of the materials above must be submitted through the Graduate College Apply Yourself website. Any information sent directly to the department may not be considered as part of the application. The only exception is an additional copy of the student's official transcript which should be sent to the Graduate College and Department of Health Care Administration and Policy.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION! All official transcripts, results of the TOEFL, the Graduate College Application form and the Assistantship request from MUST BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE GRADUATE COLLEGE at the following address:
